| The Reserves Network Sponsors Clothing and Food Drive to Benefit Springhaven, Inc.
April 2009
Elizabethtown, KY – The Reserves Network recently sponsored a clothing and food drive on April 20-24 to benefit the local SpringHaven, Inc. Domestic Violence Program.
SpringHaven Inc. provides residential services, victim advocacy, children’s programs and educational programs to those who have been affected by domestic violence. Suggested donation items included: “In-season” clothing, perishable and nonperishable food, paper products and children toys, books and games.
“The purpose of this drive was to obtain some much needed supplies to help support this meaningful organization that has provided such significant contributions to our community on an on-going basis,” said Angie Covin, branch manager for The Reserves Network's Elizabethtown office. “We estimate that we collected over $1000 in items through the drive, and feel this was a very successful campaign.”
