| Reserves Network Hosts Customer Seminars on The Department of Labor & OSHA in the Obama Administration
May 2009
The Reserves Network has teamed up with its risk management partner, Gallagher Bassett Services, to offer a series of breakfast and luncheon seminars to customers on a very timely topic - “The Future of the Department of Labor & OSHA in the Obama Administration.”
The series began in March at TRN’s Charlotte office with Eric Neal, area manager for Gallagher Bassett Services, giving two presentations. Four additional seminars are scheduled to run in May and June and will be hosted by TRN’s Springfield office in Ohio and the Bridgeview, Joliet and Matteson offices in Illinois. These seminars will be presented by Jim Lang, who also serves as an area manager for Gallagher Bassett Services.
Subjects addressed in the presentations, as they relate to the Department of Labor & OSHA, include:
• Effectiveness of OSHA through the years
• Viewpoint and Commitment of the current administration
• DC Think Tank Proposals
• OSHA’s Proposed Rules
• Congressional Bills affecting workplace and employment safety
• Predictions for the future
“These seminars provide a great opportunity for TRN to partner with an industry expert, like Gallagher and Bassett, and provide our partners in the staffing industry with a value added program,” says TRN Vice President, Kelly Burke. “The response has been very positive, and we’re collecting feedback from attendees as we explore additional presentations and topics.”
